Tango2UK’s first Away weekend at Whitemoor Lakes
Our recent Whitemoor Lakes Family Weekend provided a truly special opportunity for families to come together, connect, and create lasting memories in a supportive and understanding environment. Bringing together children, siblings, and parents affected by TANGO2, the weekend offered a wide range of activities including archery, animal handling, arts and crafts, and a memorable campfire experience. These shared moments not only encouraged fun and adventure but also helped foster meaningful friendships between families who understand each other’s journeys. Alongside the activities, there were valuable opportunities for connection, conversation, and peer support. For many, the weekend was a chance to feel less isolated and more empowered as part of a strong and compassionate community. Experiences like this are a vital part of our work—supporting wellbeing, building lasting friendships, and reinforcing that no family faces TANGO2 alone.
